چکیده
A 60 years male presented with lower backache with tingling and numbness in both lower limbs for last 3 years. Later, he had pain in the neck and progressive weakness in both upper limbs for last 4 months. He had no history of bladder and bowel involvement. On examination, he had increased tone in all the four limbs with power of 4/5, bilateral absent biceps, exaggerated knee reflexes, ankle clonus with upgoing plantars. Rest of the neurological and systemic examinations were normal. Haemogram and biochemistry were normal. X-ray forearm revealed interosseous membrane calcification (Fig. 1). X-ray dorsolumbar spine showed increased bone density with calcification of the interspinous and lateral spinous ligaments. X-ray pelvis showed generalized increased bone density with calcification of sacrotuberous ligament and obturator membrane (Fig. 2). The generalized increased bone density, membranous and ligamentous calcification is diagnostic of flurosis.

A 45-year-old Hispanic male presented to the Emergency Department with complaint of worsening weakness and myalgia. Laboratory ...

Metastatic pulmonary calcification characterized by diffuse calcium deposition in the lungs is known to occur in patients with chronic renal failure. We present a case of a 47-year-old man with chronic renal failure presented with dyspnea, high-resolution computed tomography of the chest revealed multiple, centrilobular, calcified nodules and patchy areas of ground-glass opacity throughout both...
